Weekday Class  (Tuesday and Thursday)

Morning 10:30am-11:30am

Afternoon 2:30am-3:30pm

Evening 7:00pm-8:00pm


Weekend Class  (Saturday and Sunday)

Morning 9:30am-11:30am

Afternoon 2:00am-4:00pm

Our teachers are experienced in teaching Khmer language and literacy. We have a specific curriculum and materials support. 


Students will gain the ability read and write within a short period of time.

There are 3 level of Literacy

Basic Literacy requires students to completed level A in speaking and listening. If students used to study literately or khmer language before, we recommend to do placement test before they start their class in order to have equivalent of LKL.

Phonological Awareness: Phonological awareness skills involve manipulation sounds: blending sounds, segmenting sounds, adding suns, deleting sounds and substituting sounds.

  • -  A1 = Consonants, Vowels and Sight words

  • -  A2 = Review, Independent vowels and Sight words

    Phonics: A method of teaching people to read by correlating sounds with symbols in an alphabetic writing system.

  • -  B1 = Reading rule and sight words

  • -  B2 = Cluster consonants and sight words

    Intermediate Literacy
    Fluency: Fluency is the ability to read a text accurately, quickly, and with expression.Fluent

    reading builds stamina for reading lengthy or complex texts.

- C1 = 20 Lessons = Read a paragraph

Vocabulary: Reading vocabulary refers to the words that a student can read and understand. When students know more words, they are more able to understand what they read. There is a strong connection between understanding the meaning of words and understanding a story, textbook or other reading materials.

Disciplinary Literacy

Comprehension: Reading comprehension is the ability to read text, process it and understand its meaning. It relies on two, interconnected abilities: word reading (being able to decode the symbols on the page) and language comprehension (being able to understand the meaning of the words and sentences).
